Moment
I started during the height of the pandemic, so all of the initial interactions I had with my classmates during LF and the first quarter had been virtual. When things started opening back up, my first learning group decided to get together for dinner in Santa Monica. Ordinarily, this would not have been that noteworthy, but this dinner was the first time our group met in person after weeks of working together virtually. Having the Anderson community made navigating the pandemic much easier.
In Uzi's own words
"I decided I wanted to attend Anderson because I was living in Los Angeles but still felt like an outsider at times. I wanted to grow my professional network in LA as much as possible. In a city with so much diversity, I felt that Anderson offered an avenue to engage with professionals from across industries. I had spent most of my career up until this point in technical roles as an engineer. I wanted to pursue an MBA to build a brand-new skillset while still being able to leverage many of the technical skills I had built over the years."
